Hyper Psychic Geo Garaga
Garaga has the feel of your typical 80s sci-fi adventure title with the crew of a cargo ship crash-landing on a seemingly alien world and being caught up in a war between races of ape-warriors and psychics. The movie does toss in some clever twists with its plot to keep things somewhat engaging as not all of the characters or factions in the series are as evil or good as they would seem at first glance, though it does suffer from a fair amount of rushed pacing which greatly limits any time that can be focused on exploring its characters or major elements. It makes for a decent quick watch if you are interested in seeing older anime titles, but I wouldn't consider watching it more than once.
