Kizaki's story begins when a high school boy named Ryūji is dragged by his cousin Eriko to rescue a girl from black-market dealers. The blue-eyed "girl" turns out to be a dragon who is inexplicably fixated with Ryūji — following him even when bathing and sleeping. Ryūji has to protect the girl from the black-market dealers and others.

As I see it, the 'crisis' relating to this show was whether I would be able to endure it's stifling boredom and unoriginality long enough to be able to say that I had watched a complete episode; somehow, I did. This is clearly a 'big boobs substituting for quality' sort of series, with a shameless sexy relative and mysterious but affectionate loli girl falling into Ryuji's lap. 'Entertainment value' (notice the quote marks) seems to come entirely from him seeing and feeling hot girls for no good reason. The fact that his name is virtually the only thing the loli girl, Rose, says during episode one may give you an idea of what a dearth of wit there was. Plus the nonsense about 'Lost Precious' artifacts didn't summon a shred of interest from me. The lack of effort and talent has a painful effect on me, the viewer; I must endure this show, not enjoy it in any way. How should I phrase this? After watching episode one of Dragon Crisis, I do not detect the slightest reason why I would want to devote my precious time to viewing this series. This show seems rather cocky to already be running subtitle ads for it's Blu-Ray and DVD discs, if I understood them correctly. Personally, I think I can write this one off without even needing to watch a second episode to be sure.
