Ookiku Furikabutte Natsu no Taikai-hen Its 'telling' that FUNImation has already announced that while they licensed the 1st season, they are going to pass on the 2nd season. It is not that this series is all that bad... it is just that is not all that good (and the first season did not sell very well.) What is sorely missing in this series is character development. If you are into baseball sports stories, then stick with Adachi's Cross Game. Similar theme, but told with a lot more heart and focus on the characters. Last updated Saturday, May 15 2010.
