Higashi no Eden: Gekijouban I The King of Eden
Continuing where the TV series left off, King of Eden brings back the Selecao plotting their own ideal Japan that would jeopardize the future of Japan's younger generation and Saki going to New York City to track down Akira. Like the TV series, enough hints are dropped regarding the motivations of those involved in the Selecao game and Akira's true past. The high quality visuals from the TV series are retained for the movie though this only being the first of two movies for the series, King of Eden lacks a proper finale. Still, those who enjoyed the TV series and wanted to see more of the series will get enjoyment out of seeing this movie.
