(All episodes watched):

Based on watching the first episode, my guess about the quality of Kanamemo was that it would be a modestly funny show just narrowly worth the time required to watch it. It clearly had potential, but I didn't recall laugh-out-louding at all, and the characters seemed thoroughly stereotypical without any original development at all. But the series improved steadily after that. Episode two seemed like more fun, with the bizarre daydreams of Kana and the others. Episode three was better yet, as Kana struggles to improve her salesmanship talent. Wacky scenes of self-deformation were fun. In episode four the girls perform an amateur musical about their job. It seems that a lack of thorough character development early on isn't a problem, since the show is simply silly and fun. And somehow the characters become likeable and even endearing, even if they started off two-dimensionally. Their goofiness seems to instill a sort of sisterhood among them, which the viewer feels and can relate to. There isn't really any longterm plot, except Kana getting used to her strange housemates and building a little self-confidence. My interest in this show fell off over time and it took me ten months to finish it. If your expectations aren't too high, Kanamemo is a modestly amusing show.

This turned out to be full of fun and laughs. Everything about this series was just kawaii, the cast, the episodic stories and the silly antics that goes on throughout the series.

Art, Animation & Character Designs
Art wasn't too bad. It was about on par with most other anime. Same can be said about the animation. Chracter designs on the other hand, were done well. All the characters looked kawaii. In fact, somehow, everything in this anime looked kawaii. Even the freaking cars that drove by in some of the scenes looked kawaii.

Music
The OP was a cutish (if that's a word) high-pitched pop piece with female vocals. The typical really. There was some neat (and cute) piano pieces here and there. The ED was an interesting pop-rock piece with female vocals as well.... and yup, you guessed it, cute.

Series and Episode Story
This is an episodic series. Meaning, there's really no plot, but rather, the enjoyment comes purely from each episode. Kana had a rather crazy imagination.... mostly about aliens and some of them were just funny as heck. Episode 7 was a crack up.. "barrier, barrier, barrier, barrier". You've gotta see it for the good laugh. Just thinking about it still makes me chuckle. Haruka is my fav! Some the faces she makes and her silly perverse but innocent antics had me cracking up and was just darn cute. All the characters in this series were just kawaii and lovable. The last episode was just uber cute!! The make believe race between Kana and Mika was a riot and cuter than hell.

Overall, this is just a pure uber kawaii and super-duper cute, feel-good series. If you want a good laugh and start or end your day with a smile, then pick this one up for sure.

It was a slow episode but not a bad one. Top notch Animation though and a semi funny cast.
