Well, this felt like a big F-U to School Rumble fans. Instead of settling things with a third TV season, this OAV skips much of the content from that semester in the manga and goes all the way to when Karasuma leaves for America. By doing the series in this way, viewers are just thrown into these events without knowing what went on beforehand making this feel like a series where you had to know what went on in the manga before the events took place. There are enough things that we don't know regarding certain character relationships like Yakumo/ Harima and Mikoto/ Asou. In addition, the OAV's attempts to go all serious with drama for this "final" season don't go too well since things are still not even resolved with character relationships, especially with Karasuma/ Tenma, which made all the drama pretty pointless. It just doesn't feel like the same School Rumble I laughed my ass over for the past two seasons making this the weakest entry for School Rumble anime adaptations.

The third season has been cut to TWO OVA episodes the final two unfortunately as we skipped the entire 1-24 of third season...they POORLY tried to cram all of it into the first few minutes of episode 25(OVA 1)...This is VERY dissapointing and i do not feel worthy of a review.

Final review coming soon... Bah! What the smeg are the anime producers thinking? They basically skip all manga content from the end of Nigakki and skip straight to near the end of the manga. So while School Rumble has never been huge on plot, it has been an element in which comedic situations are built (the various unrequited love situations and misunderstandings).
