Okay, who at Gonzo thought up the bright idea to place ridiculous bust sizes on some of the female characters in this series? It got rather distracting seeing such a “display” while I was trying to follow the seemingly serious plot developments being discussed by the characters. Regardless, it appeared seemingly typical: organization is brought together to deal with an alien threat, male lead finds himself dragged into the conflict, male lead gains a partner to thwart said threat as he is on the brink of death in first encounter with alien threat. I might have been tempted to give this series a couple more episodes to see if anything different panned out with it. But the prominent bust sizes and the series teasing at moments of fan service from some implied lesbianism to the preview of the second episode featuring the male lead in an embarrassing moment have me thinking otherwise. Dropping without a final review.

I tried watching this series and reached about episode 10 before I lost all interest.

The main character, Jin Kamishina finds himself attracted to a mysterious girl named Toa, only to be 'surprised' to find out that she can transform into a "Dragonaut".

I said he was surprised ... I wasn't. I am almost tempted to add 'mecha' as a category, if one could consider a giant organic dragon as a mecha unit.

There are better stories out there with similar themes (such as Mai-HiME or Rahxephon). I almost feel sorry for FUNimation in having to license this title. Let's see how quickly they release it.

Petokyo shared a quick comment - 'This would have been better if they (the Dragonaut girls) didn't all have zeppelin tits. Udders like that belong on cows and get so boring in Midnight anime.' (Snicker .. I find myself agreeing with him!)
