Yuusuke lives by himself, goes to school, has a crush on his classmate Natsumi, and bascially leads a life of any other Japanese school student. That is until he meets Noelle, a angel/demon who thinks he's her husband! Her and her wacky family move into his house and turn his life upside-down!

If you're allergic to cute, stay away. But if you're like me and really appreciate a cartoon that can appeal on multiple levels, both young children and older viewers (like the old Bullwinkle or Bugs Bunny shows), then you will enjoy this. (Did anybody else notice 'Otto' from "Airplane!" in the cockpit of the robot in the first episode?) The artwork and animation is great, the characters are kooky yet believable, and even the music is good. ('Ai wa Umi' is one of my favorite anime ballads.) It's a shame that R1 distributions haven't come out yet, since this is a series that consistently gets good reviews and has great family appeal. As far as I know only three volumes are available, and the fansubs I've found are not of good technical quality.

Tenshi ni Narumon! is a really good show. The animation is pretty good and very sugary cute. Noelle is funny but I feel bad for Yusuke. I really loved Noelle's family, one of my favorite moments of anime is when Yusuke comes home and Noelle's weird as hell family (a frankenstein, a sweet bubblebrain crybaby, a genius, and a vampire) are dancing around shaking their legs and asses singing (while holding furniture) about how they're moving in and going "tansu dansu tansu, tansu dansu tansu!" Too funny. I've only seen the first 6 episodes but I know there's a serious plot brewing here, and wonder of all wonders this show is actually available here from Synch Point dubbed or subbed. I wouldn't have thought that such a seemingly obscure (at least compared to many other anime) show would be brought over. The dub is pretty good, especially Noelle's voice, Diana Kou (she likes Seiya from Sailor Moon :) who used to be a pretty well known fan dubber as far as I know. But I think Kawakami Tomoko (Utena!!) did a better job.

This is a very cute show with some serious plotline underneath. You've got Noelle who is so cute you just want to throw her out a window. Actually, all the characters are so sugary sweet looking that you'll need to get some fillings with your done watching a few episodes. My favorite would have to be Gabriel, Noelle's big brother, who is voiced by Tasuki's seiyuu :) The serious plotline doesn't start until around episode 8 or so, with Natsumi having flashbacks of her brother sporting angel wings and flying away. I don't think this is going to be licensed anytime soon, so I saw buy a volume or so for some sugary fun :)
