It is really hard to find, but Mamotte Shugogetten is worth the time spent chasing down.

Shinpi no Sekai El Hazard is one of my all time fav's, if you have not seen it yet.

And then there is always Happy Lesson TV.

Hope that this proves helpful.

Oh, and while this is not a true harem story, Irresponsible Captain Tylor always worth taking a peek at......

Too many worthy harems to count my friend.

Try:

The Strongest Bride on Earth - too funny for words with tons of ecchiness topped off with action galore.
Hanaukyo Maid Tai - I labeled it the king of the ecchi genre with enough laughs that can split your sides. Hanaukyo Maid Tai La Verite as a longer dramatic remake with favorable action that sacrificed it's humor.
Rosario + Vampire Capu2 - you might want to finish the funnier second season if you didn't already.
Da Capo - check out this legendary multi-season series with consists of 5 titles in all.
Zero no Tsukaima - another legendary trio of titles lie in wait with this one which is packed with action, comedy, romance, fan service, and a powerful story.

And those are just a small taste of what is out there.

Saber Marionette J is a decent old-school harem anime title focused on a boy and three androids called marionettes. The show takes place on a planet where the population consists entirely of men who were cloned and genetically altered from earlier generations from the seven astronauts that got stranded on the planet. Comedy, drama and action can be found throughout this series.

Ok Kbanger I'm the King of Harems! Hahaha. (Ask Stretch or JC!)

You have already watched the best of the harems...aka Vandread. So Here's a List of things you want to watch.

  • Bakemonogatari - This is a very strange harem as the main character captures the 'hardest girl' first. It's also very violent.
  • Tsukihime - Vampire Harem.
  • Hand Maid May - Robot Harem
  • Hayate the Combat Butler - Sunrise didn't really play up the harem, but the 2nd season by JC staff sure did.
  • Tylor - (Mentioned Here already)
Now each are a different type. All are comedies..sorta. The first two are very bloody and the next is very suggestive and the Hayate is pure zany and the last is Suggestive and Zany.

Have you tried G-on Riders yet? It's a love-it-or-hate-it sort of harem which I personally love. Another would be Inukami. Or maybe Steel Angel Kurumi.

You haven't watched Fate/Stay Night? You should. It's not bad, though it pales in comparison with the game.

And we should always mention Maburaho.

Ok, here's what I have/seen or both: Maburaho, Saber Marionette J, Rosario + Vampire 1 & 2, Hand Maid May, Da Capo, Hanaukyo Maid Team: La Verite, the entire El Hazard series, Happy Lesson, and Hayate No Gotoku 1 & 2. I am watching Inukami (thank you Stretch), and will be watching the rest eventually. Definitely want to see Tsukihime since I am a vampire/goth fan and Fate/Stay Night.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor
The Strongest Bride on Earth
and the Zero no Tsukaima series

These are all almost great and fun series...

My suggestion would be Ichigo 100% TV if the harem is meant to be a comedy, and True Tears if it's meant to be a drama.

I am not quite sure if I would recommend Ichigo, it starts good and goes to pot later.

  • Tylor is the hidden Gem, it's extremely old and is as good as Vandread.
  • Zero - I would only recommend 1st series for sure. 2nd was very disappointing and 3rd was soso.
  • True tears didn't have enough comedy to hold me down.
Now that I have looked at Kbanger's profile there, it appears that Comedy Harems is what you specialize in.

  • You have not seen the DEFINITION OF HAREM - Love Hina?
  • Have you seen Seto No Hanayome? The harem doesn't develop until the 5th episode I think.
  • Girls Bravo - Large amounts of stupid nudity but great comedy.
But you MUST MUST see Tsukihime. It's a great anime.

Inukami was pretty funny too. The violence that is shown (like Love Hina) did turn me a bit off but I still enjoyed it.

You know as I get older, I know my Favorite Maburaho is not the masterpiece anime that I thought it was. Out of 26 episodes we get about 10 good ones, 10 soso ones, and 6 STUPID ONES. I will also remember it (And I own the boxset) but it isn't as perfect as it could be (And the fact that it ended in book 3 out of 7!)

How could I forget Love Hina. It is one of titles that originally got me interested in anime. It can only be considered a classic, along with Ranma ½. Ranma is weird because its both a boy's harem and girl's harem tale, and at times - a very sloppy mix of the two.

Well you know that Rumiko Takahashi isn't noted for making her series make a lot of sense. She's a Shounen in disguise, drag out as much as she can and making almost no connections between episodes.

Oh and 2 more.

  • Louie the Rune Soldier
  • Amenidaiyo (I think that's what it is called). I didn't care for it but it's sequel Katsu I enjoyed.
So now you have a full plate to watch Kbanger

Let's see: Love Hina I own/seen, Ichigo 100% I've seen all (after posting something about the most pathetic protagonist in anime), Ranma 1/2 I own/seen, & Girls Bravo own/seen. I have Tsukihime in my Netflix queue along with Fate/Stay Night.
