But it turns out that there is an unannounced final entry test for new students: they must destroy a Shadow World, which they are assured is 'an artificial world created for the purpose of this test'. All of a sudden, Desir's hellish quest seems completely meaningless. However, he finds that Romantica, a girl who he had feelings for and who he had thought had died during his original quest, is alive and well at Hebrion. Desir vows 'I won't let that tragedy repeat itself. I will rewrite the history of the world!'

Second year trainee Tsubaki is notified that two first-year girls who she is responsible for, Sazanka and Asagao, have gone missing, possibly to pick a fight with men who are known to exist on a nearby mountain.

Unevaluated Saybil is a strange boy. He has no memory of anything that happened to him before he enrolled in the Royal Academy of Magic in the Kingdom of Wenias. He is seen as gloomy and mysterious and is the lowest ranking student at the school. He is given one last chance to avoid expulsion: go to a special village that is being set up in the South as a refuge for persecuted Witches, and become a mage there. He will spend three years there, and if his supervisor is satisfied with his performance will be reinstated at the Academy; if not, all of his memories of magic will be erased. He accompanies Loux Krystal, 'The Dawn Witch', Kudo, a lizard-man (or 'Beastfallen'), and star student Hort, a red-haired girl.

Megami no Café Terrace
Unevaluated After his grandmother died, Hayato Kasukabe comes home from Tokyo University to survey the small cafe he has inherited. He initially plans to have it torn down and replaced with a parking lot, but he finds that five girls who worked for his grandmother as waitresses still live in the adjoining house. He is persuaded to reopen the cafe and try to make it profitable.

Unevaluated Haru Nabutame ('Harurun'), Kyoka Tamaki ('O-Kyon') and Rio Seibu were entranced by a performance of famous Idol Hotaru and decided to form an Idol group themselves. But their group, 'TiNgS', has met a distinct lack of success and their producer, Yuki, threatens to let them go unless they sell out a sizable performance within three months. Their last chance is a new manager, Naoki Hinase, who has a reputation for talent and ability but also for having a 'difficult' personality. Naoki has a unique ability for detecting lies, but in Haru he senses a sincere person whose dream is the same as his.
