It was love at first sight for Aihara Kotoko as top student Irie Naoki delivers a speech on the first day of high school. Yu Ayase is the son of the late world famous actress Subaru Ayase, so when he enrolled in prestigious Saika Academy it was assumed that he, too, would be a prodigy. But there's nothing at all special about his talents, they are, if anything, mediocre. The 'Three Royals'--three extraordinarily talented girls who dominate the three departments of the academy, Kazuki (Performing Arts), Miwa (Advanced Programs) and Niko (Athletics) are especially dismayed with Yu. Later, Yu locates the elaborate house that he is being allowed to stay in by the absent Mr. Mikadono, and finds that he won't have it to himself.
