Banaza was a young merchant who did what he could to advance justice in a land where prejudice against 'demihumans' was rife. Then he was magically teleported to a whole different world, the egalitarian Magical Kingdom of Klyrode, as a potential Hero to fight the menacing Dark Army. A test of his abilities in this videogame-like world found that he lacked what is known as a 'Divine Revelation', and therefore ought to be useless as a Hero. An error by the government prevented him from being returned to his previous world, and as compensation (and to keep the mistake secret) he is given some money and magical skills and sent to live in the remote Forest of Delaveza. But Banaza finds that as a result of some sort of glitch in this world's programming, he is granted a cascade of new skills and levels upwards like a rocket. Among other things, he can change his appearance as a disguise, and uses it to return to the capital and register as an adventurer named Flio. Flio comes across Fenrys, a demihuman who can transform into a terrifying giant wolf--but she finds that Flio's abilities are even more terrifying. |
