(Objectionable Content) (Boys Love = BL) - A term used to describe a genre of manga/anime/games created to appeal to women. The main characters of a BL themed anime will be a close group of attractive boys or men. With an emphasis on camaraderie and friendship, (and given the absence of women) they might flirt and tease each other mercilessly. Stories with a more overt (homo) sexual theme will be flagged with the keywords Shounen ai or Yaoi.
