Final fantasy fans might find a bit of resemblance to the games and such, but not much. The plot is pretty predictable, and the series has a mostly episodic nature, but there are some interesting points. Also, while the whole "I'm setting up my cool gun with 3 different coloured flasks to summon a different GF, or esper, or whatever each episode" was kinda neat, the fact that the same sequence was in every episode, and takes like 3 and a half minutes to go through was rather annoying. I feel that this anime is aimed at a young audience, all though it is very entertaing nonetheless. If you are a fan of the games then I would recomend watching it.

I really was disappointed when I saw the first episode of this series. The art and character design is so lame I could hardly watch this anime. As a huge final fantasy fan I think this really hurts the final fantasy name. If you happen to find it try watching it to remember some of the things in final fantasy. Other wise this is totally bad. Honestly one of the best animes i've ever seen VERY VERY deep and mind boggling amazing story and ANY Final Fantasy fan should watch this much better then the first final fantasy anime...you know I can't even remember it's name...10/10
