This show seems to be trying to be primarily a comedy, but as is often the case it isn't terribly funny. Maybe it should have tried to be primarily a drama. It also might have been a good idea if the question of whether Akeuchi is really an alien or just thinks she is had been left unanswered. The show doesn't come right out and say that she is one, or reveal fantastic technology that only an alien could possess, but there seems to be little doubt. And will telepathy really play all that big a part? Akeuchi is apparently only capable of 'foreheadpathy', or telepathy when two people touch their foreheads together. Umika vows to build a rocket to take the stranded Yu back to her home world. Apparently there will be four main characters. Maybe this show will get better, and we will get to know the two main girls enough to really root for them, but I was not very impressed by episode one and will probably pass.
