The 'Marriage Practical' exercise is approaching, in which students will be randomly assigned a make-believe spouse and will have to live together as mock couples. Self-admitted 'social outcast' Jiro Yakuin would like nothing better than to be matched with Shiori Sakurazaka, who he has known since childhood and secretly loves. But it is just his luck that instead he gets Akari Watanabe, an outgoing and arrogant gyaru. Akari, who had hoped to be matched to the handsome and popular Minami Tenjin, is no happier. But before long they realize that their lot might not be so terrible after all.

(One episode watched):

I never got excited about the premise here. I guess that even after the first episode I still didn't feel that I really knew any of the main characters enough to care about them. Jiro just wants to be left alone and would be content to remain a friend of Shiori--and that's about all we know about him. Akari is chasing the star hunk Tenjin, and wants to score highly on the exercise because if you do you get to chose a new spouse (for some reason), and that's about it with her. The Marriage Practical exercise makes little sense; couples are just supposed to act as if they were married, but under no circumstances may do what married couples tend to do. There doesn't seem to be any training regarding how to handle a budget or own a home or even raise children--and the exercise apparently drags on for months. Nor was it very funny; I think the only semblance of a laugh that I got was a play on words regarding the Japanese words for 'kiss' and 'fish'. This show seems to rely on fanservice, like the bit where squirting ketchup is likened to ejaculation. Fuufu- does not seem to be going anywhere that I want to go, and I doubt if I will watch any more.
