Niji no Kanata e! Shoujo Diana Monogatari
This TV special is meant to offer a biographical exploration of Diana of Wales' early years from her birth to her early teenage years as a student at the Riddlesworth Hall boarding school for girls. Aimed for girls, this can come off somewhat saccharine with how Diana's character behaves politely around others and the condensed format does limit how much depth it can provide to her. But at least with the general details known with Diana growing up, the TV special does do a decent job dabbling into the finer details of Diana's time growing up such as dealing with the divorce of her parents, acquiring her interests in swimming and dancing, and her charitable personality. I'll be the first to admit I never knew this TV special existed until fairly recently digging through obscure 80s anime. At least worth a watch if you were interested in wanting to know what Diana's life was like growing up before becoming the princess of Wales admired globally.
