This was a show which I quickly realized was not appealing to me. Basically, it seems to rely on sheer cuteness, rather than humor or plot, to entertain us. Shachiku finds the baby ghost she encounters to be adorable and is instantly attracted to it, while I was hoping for a laugh or an interesting story. Why would a baby ghost turn up in an office building? Did she, Yuurei-chan (I think), die while still very young? One potentially intriguing bit was the revelation that the reason Yuurei has been trying to scare Shachiku into giving up and going home was because she feared that she might literally work herself to death. It might be interesting to delve into the psychology of this workaholic woman. But I detected no signs that this show was going to get at all 'deep' and intriguing. Rather, it looks like a couple of additional ghost girls will show up and we will be expected to find them adorable as well, even though their animation and dialogue are nothing special. As for me, I hardly bothered to take notes while struggling through one episode and experienced my greatest joy when the credits appeared. This show is totally inoffensive but seems totally vapid as well.
