(One episode watched):
Here is yet another sword & sorcery anime which couldn't quite pique my interest. The plot seems conventional and unremarkable, and, as is the case all too often, the characters didn't seem like people I could sympathize with and care about. The villains are cardboard evil characters, black as tar, while the Prince has no defects except his fearfulness of stepping forward and claiming the throne. Some other factions are at work as well, but I found them to be confusing, and, since the show as a whole didn't excite me, I couldn't summon the effort to keep track of who they were working for. There was something about different dragons playing a part, as if each country has a guardian dragon, or something like that--I don't really know. The fact that I took no notes about episode one and that it took me several days before I could bring myself to write this brief review are indicative of how little interest this show brought about within me. Maybe I should watch another episode before writing this series off, but I'm not looking forward to doing that--which, in itself, is a pretty good indicator that I wouldn't get much entertainment out of watching it.
