I'm not gonna bother handing out numerical ratings for this since it would be really unfair for me to do so since this is a historically significant piece that is nearly a century old. It's only just over a minute long and really rushes through its story with the story of Taro Urashima meaning character development is pretty much nonexistent here and there's no voice acting since the technology for it wouldn't be available until a decade later. The visuals are comparable to American animated short films of the time period in terms of quality though have their unique looks for human characters. Still if you have a deep love for animation and would like to see more of anime's earliest titles, this baby is as old as you are likely to find out of the medium we all know and love.
