A common gimmick in writing anime meant to appeal largely to teenage boys is to include a sister who somehow isn't related by blood to the brother, and thus is an eligible romantic partner. No doubt this is done just to keep the censors happy, since the boys will gladly lust after their sisters, no matter how closely related they are. OneeKita is a largely forgettable but modestly amusing short series about a boy's dream come true: his elder sister throws herself at him, which, along with her pronounced airheadedness, sort of means she has relinquished the obedience he would otherwise be obliged to pay her, and he doesn't have to lift a finger. But it doesn't get nearly as racy as it might, since Tomoya is uninterested and Ichika doesn't go overboard and propose that Tomoya have sex with her or anything like that. It's basically what you would expect: a titillating situation with modest innuendo meant more to make boys daydream than laugh. I get a laugh or a smile or two from each mini episode, then have pretty much forgotten about it when the next one comes along. This would be extremely tiresome if it were a full-length TV series, however. I suppose the reason that these short series are so common nowadays is because they provide a handy method of converting four-frame comic strips into anime. Also, overused premises like this one can probably only hold the viewer's attention for five minutes or so.
