(Half of one episode watched):

I started watching this show thinking that it was going to be about a naughty romantic triangle between a girl and her two brothers. That didn't exactly turn out to be the case. It turns out that this girl has no less than fifteen brothers (according to my fansub) and each is both super handsome and renowned in some respectable line of work. You would think that half of all the talent in Japan has become concentrated in one immediate family. Being only a half-sister, Ema is free to choose. It reminds me of that old TV show, the Dating Game. It's like a girl's wildest dream come true, the ultimate reverse-harem. But what really stretches this show beyond the limits of credibility is that it's narrated by Ema's pet squirrel, Juli, which only she can hear, apparently. But so far Juli has more personality than anyone else, even Ema. Ema may have been intentionally left personality-less so that any girl watching could juxtapose herself into her place, much like many conventional harem anime. Even though it was clearly designed for female viewers, if Ema at least had been given some personality and some sort of issue that needed to be solved, I might not have minded watching this. But it was little more than wishful thinking, and I could soon see that this show had nothing to offer me. I fast-forwarded through the last third or so. At least a show which I clearly don't like leaves me with plenty of material for my review!
