About all I can say with Carlvinson is meh. Much of the title's comedy revolves the antics of Corona's adoptive family and the residents of the alien world that they inhabit, along with a few serious moments coming from Corona being orphaned and some events that occur towards the end of the OAV. The comedy didn't really get me laughing and because of the limited depth of the OAV's characters, I couldn't find myself caring for the moments Corona shared with her adoptive family of aliens and robots. The visuals to Carlvinson haven't aged too well either as character designs and scenery are of the typical 80s design with their rough details and drab colors, as well as the title's animation not being all that impressive either. Overall while not the worst thing I've seen and it has no negative qualities to make me rate it an Avoid, Carlvinson was pretty forgettable for me and I don't think I'd want to dive into it for seconds.
