For Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, the DVD & Blu-Ray releases contains animated commentaries for each episode. Unlike many other anime releases, this isn't just an additional audio track for the normal episode, this is several (super-deformed) animated main characters of the episode talking about their own behavior and thoughts, showing assorted scenes of the episode on a TV set in their room (and occasionally inviting their seiyuu to the discussion) and commenting on the development in general as well as on their respective character traits.

The strong side of the series was the quirky side characters, and here in the Animated Commentary we get them without having to watch Kirino bitching around and punishing Kyousuke for nothing in particular over and over again. As such, this DVD omake is funnier than the anime itself. And again, Manami and Kuroneko are the most interesting characters here.

Of course these 16 commentary episodes require the audience to know the series, and therefore are only meant for the fans of this series. But you get a lot of stuff here, such as additional insight into how the main characters felt at certain stages of the story, or Kirino interviewing her own seiyuu via the TV set and asking her what kind of character she is, or two Ayases from different times of the story discussing their different opinion of Kyousuke. This is "fan service" in the original meaning of this term. Some of the commentaries even contain comments of other characters on previous commentary episodes...

The chibi characters versions are explicitly two-dimensional, so when Kirino slaps Kyousuke you see the boy's two-dimensional flat shape rotate around his vertical axis and such. Lots of shiny effects and explosions add to the mix - the visual standards are high as always for this anime. But with no additional story to tell, the focus is on entertaining dialogs.
