Notables:
The 11 year old Marui triplets could not be any more different. The oldest one, Mitsuba, is sadistic and kind of mature for her age. The middle one, Futaba, is perverted, very athletic, and has the strength of a full-grown man. The youngest one, Hitoha, is generally very quiet and gentle but when push comes to shove, she might just be the strongest, the most perverted, and the most sadistic out of the three! The Marui triplets are all in the same class (6-3), led by the newly graduated teacher Yabe Satoshi. He usually gets pushed around by the girls and, on occasion, abused, but the triplets also try to lead him and the new school nurse, the clumsy Kuriyama Aiko, together. However, Yabe had no intention of dating Aiko and the methods the triplets use to accomplish their goal are highly unorthodox...

It seems not a whole lot of fair reviews on this one. That's what caught my attention. Man, i'm sure glad I picked it up too, because I had a fun ride with this one.

Art, Animation & Character Designs
Artwork is definately different from the norm. It's very child-like... almost chibby but not quite. Characters were drawn very kawaii.... even the adult characters. It was good overall.

Music
The OP was too cute for me. It was actually catchy with cute little girl voices singing the lyrics. Cute, but not my flavor. The soundtrack consisted of banjos (yes) and some cool suspense sound effects like the type you'd here in horror flicks during tense scenes. The ED was a nice, light lullaby with female vocals. However it seemed a bit off from the whole series setting.

Series and Episode Story
Oh my God, this series is sick, peverted, twisted, completely wrong.... but somehow still funny as hell at times. First, let's clarify one thing...
1. I don't believe this should be catagorized as lolicon. Sure, we have 3 misfit, twisted and deranged little girls, but there's no hint of sexual perversion (of themselves), no panty shots, or even compromising scenes (of themselves). We do however get plenty of physical violence, chatter about breasts, pictorial nudity (found in magazine). if I was to compare this series to Kodomo no Jikan, I'd say Kodomo is far worse because in that one, there's a lot of really suggestive scenes, partial nudity and not to mention, the premise itself is a bold topic. We don't really get any of that in this series.

I can't say this series relies on violence and vulgarity for humor, although there's plenty of that. However, there's some absolutely hilarious scenes without the use of violence or vulgarity. Take for example the class hamster "nipples". Oh my god, this was just too funny. And all throughout the series, we get plenty of cracks revolving "nipples". Just too good. I'm still laughing just writing this.... two days later. Then there's the pimple on the cheek scene in episode 14 that had me rolling on the floor and dying from side cramps. And it wasn't just the situation but also the fantastic artwork that really brought out the gut wrenching laughter. And my favorite scene, episode 11. Oh My God!!! I literally had tears in both eyes, my sides were cramping like crazy and I was on my knees laughing so hard. Mitsuba is tied up and unknowingly fighting with a desk chair.... the type that's on wheels and that swivels. By pure accident and dumb luck, the chair is beating her up as she's struggling to fend it off. But what really makes it even funnier is she's imagining it's her kidnapper (as the scene cuts to what she's imagining in her head... she's blinded as well). Just the whole scene and her flopping around like a fish out of water (tied up) still is making me crack up with laughter.

Overall, this series is almost a must watch. If you can get over the vulgarity of these 3 sisters, the cutsie looking artwork and the elementary school setting, then you'll have a serious laugh-fest. Loved it!

Unevaluated 21 [series:2324#3223]
(Five episodes watched)

What a strange series. The comedy is very hit-and-miss. I found myself laughing quite a bit in the first episode, but not much since. The second episode in particular was too juvenile, in my opinion. Mucus and urine and blood, oh my!

Unevaluated Stretch [series:2324#628]
(Half of one episode watched):

When the main characters of a show repell me, when they really repell me, like when you try to push the same poles of two different magnets together, it's a safe bet that I'll be best off by avoiding the show altogether. Mitsudomoe wasn't particularly lolicon from what I saw, but the three girls were just so obnoxious that I don't want to touch them with a ten-foot pole. I quickly got the vibe that this show had a nasty, mean spirit to it, with violence commonplace and considered funny. That must have been the idea, because I got very few laughs out of it. It had an effect on me like itching powder; it's an irritant rather than a source of entertainment. I quit at the station break. I don't like these girls at all and see no reason whatsoever to watch.

P.S: This represents my 700th review at Mikomi. I just wish I had saved it for a show I actually thought worth watching...

Unevaluated Jan-Chan [series:2324#967]
OMG!! This is another one of those Japanese Lolicon anime stories. But while it is pretty ecchi, it is nowhere near as bad as Kodomo no Jikan.

Three sisters (triplets) with very different personalities are in the same class with a new first year teacher. Their misconceptions and crazy antics usually have a perverted meaning and twisted outcome which often involves their teacher and their desire to support his (as yet unrealized) romance with the new school nurse.

Their naming their class hamster 'nipple' still has me chuckling.

UPDATE Three episodes watched and I was wrong. This series is even more ecchi and lewd than Kodomo no Jikan. Apparently some find humor in watching kids talk and behave like adults in matters of sex and sexuality. Personally I don't find it entertaining and I will dropping this title from my watch list.
