Koihime Musou OVA
Somehow the girls of Koihime Musou have been transported from feudal China to modern day Japan (apparently); no explanation is offered. They take part in a sort of sports festival to select the next student council president at St. Francesca Academy, which seems to be a school which espouses all the principles which the girls lived by in the original series. However, Kanu and Rin Rin get into an argument and Rin Rin defects to another team. The use of fanservice, to a greater extent than in the TV series, quickly became obvious. There are a number of boob jokes, but they are fairly funny ("excessive centrifugal force in the chest", for example). SD imagery was amusing, too. This OVA definitely had it's moments, such as the video game tie-in and the incident during a three-legged race. I would describe the original Koihime Musou as goofy kawaii with a touch of ecchi, and that description still seems perfectly appropriate here.
