How is a show both 'Modern' and 'Historical'? When the characters of a middle ages story pay another visit to the present day, as in Koihime Musou OVA. Either that, or modern-day technology goes back in time to visit them. Basically, what we get here is Kan'u and Rin Rin singing the long versions of the OP and ED songs; an animated Idol concert, pretty much. You'll recall that Idol singers played an important part in Shin Koihime Musou. The remainder of the cast show up later on for a finale number. A few jokes are cracked as well. Chances are that only a Koihime Musou fan would have much interest in this.
