There is a certain fansub group with too much time on their hands and no fun new series to work on, so they have decided to go back and release this series. I watched the first episode before losing interest. This series very much reminded me of something from the ‘speed racer’ vintage or age, with its over-blown and hyper main character, who ‘finds’ himself with an ultra-cool motorcycle which can transform and change into a giant robot. Fair animation, simple characters, straight forward plot and too many rehashed/recycled stereotypical situations. Did I mention that this series originally came out in 1975? And has actually been resurrected at least twice? In any event - this is a good update on the standard old fare, which is certain to entertain and amuse a new crop of rugrats.
