Strawberry Marshmallow is yet another "cute girls doing cute things" style of slice-of-life comedies focused on Nobue putting up with the antics of her younger sister Chika and her three elementary school friends. While it did have its moments of laugh-out loud moments for me compliments of some of the character antics, your mileage will still vary greatly will how well you warm up to the comedy and the characters don't have much going for them in regards to depth beyond whatever quirks or archetypes they fill for the show. Pretty much, just your typical slice-of-life comedy that not everyone is gonna like.

With a lackluster dub and a TON of Japanese localization, this subject failed to make me entertain me as much as say Azumanga Daioh. It's cute, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cute. The VA who plays Nobue is good. The Miu VA needs to be MORE annoying. The Ana VA SUCKS! In the second disk is a joke about her cell phone. They should realize that Japanese cell phones are much more advanced than American ones. In fact, the joke didn't play out till the very end. Then it was extremely funny. More after I see more.
