Anime is considered by many (experts and common folk alike) to be a cultural phenomenon that bridges many gaps between nations with a common interest, while some non-believers of lesser intelligence brush them off as simple cartoons (which pisses me off to no end). No matter which way you look at it however, it would be exceptionally difficult to deny it's existence and the multinational following. Even by today's standards with the current condition of the world, I still think there is at least one favorite title out there for everyone to enjoy...
As if to further complicate things, the next season is already in line for the Fall.

Here is the current breakdown of the guidelines:

*The intent is to provide an easy click space for visitors to access new series (or titles).
*Titles must be currently airing in Japan (or the pacific rim) or being fansubbed.
*Once licensed, the title should be removed from the list.
*Once a title completes airing overseas and being fansubbed, it should be removed within a week.
*Titles shall be decided by popular vote as presented and discussed in the forum.
*If two senior reviewers are in agreement, then a title can be added.

The list is to be sorted by (also can be used as "removal criteria"):

*General potential - debatable
*Enthusiasm by senior reviewers - debatable
*Frequency of updates

Here is the current list:

Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~
Highschool of the Dead
Asobi ni Iku yo!
Amagami SS
Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin
Cat Shit One
Strike Witches 2-ki
Seitokai Yakuindomo
Black Lagoon OVA
Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu
Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Fairy Tail
Dragon Ball Kai

...and here is the ANIME LINE-UP for this Fall 2010 season.

"The man whose Knight is so Xeno...."

Linkbox feature, hRebecca.

Fall 2010 looks real nice too, lots of interesting titles.

And about non-believers who brush anime off as stupid cartoons, which I too bump into every now and then, I just tell them to watch "welcome to the NHK" and they shut up. :)
