I'm ok with Chaos but leave Soul Eater! That is a 50 episode series. Who is still watching Clannad (I am BARELY) and Casshern and Kurogane?

What about Kurogane and Casshern? I think Stretch was watching both but I dropped both after the first episode.

WOW!!! What happened Forbin? You're not enjoying Clannad anymore? This is a shock to me. I thought everyone loved Clannad until I read that post. I'm stunned.

As for forum post 3300:

It's like what I said last time with how there isn't any constant updates on those titles. If no one (in general) is watching them and enjoying them, then why are they still on the list? As for Chaos;Head, I tried not to mention it because it was such a great title but I guess the jig is finally up. LOL ^_^ It's time to remove it.

In a blatant attempt to push people around and shamelessly promote a series that I am enthralled with .....

What is your opinion of rideback???

I guess I could check it out if you're recommending it (we need more of this behavior from all reviewers by the way), but I will say that I have a negative impression already after what a reviewer (no names) said about it as he compared it (or referenced it) to Code Geass! I felt a "high-level" of disrespect and swore not to watch the title, but I seem to have calmed down from all that. I'm still upset though... (no grudge against that reviewer of course).

Bah Code Geass is just like another favorite show of mine with robots! haha.

Rideback is ok. I usually don't watch sports / competitive types but I have watched the first 2 eps. And I do watch Clannad but I enjoyed it most as a Harem fight instead of this angsty just melodrama.

Hey man! I agree with you but don't spoil it for the others who don't know that. Put the spoiler tag on the Clannad spoiler please.

I agree that harems are the best, but pain and suffering is something else entirely. I think Clannad can excel at whatever it wants. It did the harem thing and succeeded. This season is a tragedy (might give Rumbling Hearts a run for it's money). If they start a third season and this one is all action, it would excel at that as well and not even break a sweat. The fight scenes that you "skipped" might have surprised you.

And Gundam seed was "garbage" (as per what some of my buddies told me) compared to Code Geass! I say there is no comparison to perfection but that is just me.

The comparison between RideBack and Code Geass was just a first impression, triggered by the narrator's introduction; in fact RideBack turned out to be very different. So please don't jump to the conclusion that RideBack is a poor man's Code Geass.

In another blatant attempt to manipulate the Current Favorites List, what do you all think of Skip Beat!? Only myself and Silence have reviewed it, but we both like it a lot; it's my favorite Fall 08 series which has carried on into Winter 09.

And don't forget that I've already stated that I wouldn't mind removing Casshern Sins and Linebarrels from the list.

I watched five or ten episodes but then lost interest. I seem to have a habit with shows like Yu Yu Hakusho or Bleach of enjoying the basic premise but losing interest once the show goes into "fight mode".

Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho were (and still are) fantastic titles. I'm waiting on the complete box set for Yu Yu but Bleach is another issue. It seems like i'm the only one watching it (with updates) and it's a shame because the series is 200+ eps in with a very interesting story as well as intense action and it doesn't seem like it's going to end any time soon. It should break off (like Naruto did) to start something new but it is like Da Capo right now. It will never end, but that's a good thing in my opinion. Good titles should live on...

I'm getting carried away so let me stop. LOL

Impossible! Manga or the anime? You must mean manga because things are just getting started in the anime. How do you know?

BTW: Please don't forget your Clannad spoiler in post 3304 that still needs a spoiler tag.

I'm reading the Manga, and yes without spoiling things it is almost over.

But in regards to clannad, Key animes have one theme over and over and that's it.

Agreed. It is a shame as far as Key is concerned. If only they would try something new for once. We all know they have what it takes to be one of the best (pratically is the best) groups for anime. Wasted talent but oh well...

Thanks for the change in 3304.

Alright Jan-chan. You win. RideBack is great and I'll be watching eagerly from here on. You got my vote for addition. The rest of you guys should check it out. Looks like it's time to remove Soul Eater. Notice me stalling with Chaos;Head again. LOL

A1: RideBack

Without a doubt on Haruhi Suzamiya, but the lastest news article (Update 2) suggests otherwise. It seems like it will be a regular rebroadcast of the first season (new content maybe?), if i'm interpreting it correctly. It isn't very clear.

The title that took it's place is effectively over now if you ask me. I can't say it was a waste of time though.

Just trying to clean up the list and keep it fresh...

List is sorted by:

1) Newer titles first
2) General potential - up for debate
3) Enthusiasm by senior reviewer updates - up for debate
4) Frequency of updates

(it's not a ranking system but more a guideline)

The list is "roughly" sorted with some titles that still need to be changed. Any thoughts?
