* Episode 8 (-): <i>This is getting ridiculous</i>. Now this girl writes a bestselling manga that even gets its own anime? Yeah, right <small>(downgrade for <b>Series Story</b>)</small>. With Kirino totally disgracing herself in the project meeting the series had the chance to trim down this brat and make her reconsider her attitude - but instead she even feels vindicated in the end. The best part was Kuroneko's stunning speech <small>(holding up a mirror to the anime industry)</small> coming out of the blue, the worst one was the way Kyousuke lost his face once again - triggering a very legitimate question on their way home, one he was unable to answer.
* Episode 9 (+): <i>A glimpse behind the curtain</i>. Another (nice) slice of life interlude, showing all three otaku girls in their home and giving us surprising new information about both Saori and Kuroneko. Kirino still bitching around but the eroge she played strangely confronted her with a character much like herself... not that she would get the lesson already. Kyousuke's phone call to Kuroneko for no particular reason made me wonder.
