| Hokuto Takeshi is "a man with money, power and influence"--who accidentally transferred to Cromartie High. Now he is informed of the "All Japan Bancho (delinquent leader) Competition", the winner of which will be given power throughout all the schools in Japan. This is just what Hokuto is after, and he wonders why he hasn't been invited to take part. His assistant, meanwhile, is irritated because nobody seems able (or willing) to remember his name... | |

| This show has so much instantaneous, short term humor that I sort of wonder if there will ever be a well developed long-term plot. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be much of a plot even to individual episodes! They are just plain funny. | |
