Errrr... how would you like some blood and brain matter to go with your breakfast cereal?

The jpgs listed below are compliments of a blog site that I stumbled across, (sorry, I can't find it again, because they should be properly credited), but it does summarize what this series' focus is all about.

Stretch: Gee, I was looking forward to seeing Sakura-kun getting the top of his head taken off, but the version I initially downloaded had signs saying "these scenes cannot be shown" in place of the graphic violence. The "Triad" version turned out to be uncut, and actually the animation moves so fast that I would never have noticed that details of brains and flying eyeballs had been included if I hadn't seen the stills. I was expecting to see Sakura and Dokuro meet for the first time, but no, this series explains their relationship with a few lines from the narrator, then leaps right into the mayhem. Though it could still get kind of disturbing at times, the fact that Dokuro-chan is a "slaughtering angel" made this inherently absurd, whereas the sadistic Kirie from Girls Bravo is supposedly an ordinary girl. Also, not just geysers of blood, but toilet humor too! I found the jokes to be fairly funny--like a jab at President Bush and what happens to angels who lose their halos. What was the deal with the monkey? The OP song was fun. I wouldn't mind watching some more of this series...

My favorite line: "Geez, you promised me this morning that you wouldn't beat me to death anymore" --Sakura-kun
