Sunabouzu - 2: Sand and Ra-

Synopsis
Noriko's aging father collapses as they haul a cart across the desert. Meanwhile, Sunabouzu wins a fight with an unorthodox tactic. He has taken down dozens of opponents, commenting that "It's a breeze when I don't have to deal with women". He hears a shot nearby and finds collection agent Amagumo ("The Rain Spider"), confronted by two armed men. Rumor has it that Amagumo can take a man's very soul, and Sunabouzu knows what's going to happen next. Afterwards they joke with each other (more like taunts, actually, since they are rivals). Then Sunabouzu goes to town to be assigned his next task. He's sent to water station 22 where a man, Koike Kazuo, owes Akashio Financial an overdue loan. He arrives at the address only to find Amagumo already there--Koike has more than one overdue loan! Does this man have anything of value to repay the money he owes? If he can only repay one loan, which will it be?

Stretch 3/17/05: I didn't get the entire title of this episode because it was clipped by the edge of the TV screen. To be honest, I didn't think this one was quite as good as the first episode--I guess my main problem was that the way Sunabouzu and Amagumo settled their dispute seemed confused. One minute they are trying to kill each other, the next they seem like old buddies? Make no mistake though, as a whole this was certainly worth watching.
