| Watching a happy couple at school, watching a kissing scene in TV [image1] while cooking for his mother's restaurant (and destroying the frying pan in the process), watching a cute girl while driving back on his scooter with the freshly purchased replacement pan - only to awake in hospital... you can say this just wasn't Makoto's day. Of course his handheld is broken and his girls' database is gone as well.
In the hospital he soon gets to know nurse apprentice Mizuki and young Lisa [image2], a patient like himself. Makoto gets interested in the cute nurse at once, and despite his broken leg he manages to give Yoshihiko [image3] a call - he needs a certain book now. It's not exactly helpful that Yoshihiko misheard that book's title - but as Mizuki-san has already taken care of this issue in her own way Yoshihiko's help isn't required anymore. Now Makoto starts to hit on Mizuki, with the help of Lisa-chan who knows the nurse quite well already. But the present he gives to Mizuki backfires completely - it even gets Mizuki into trouble in her job [image4]. Makoto has already lost all his hope when fate suddenly presents him an opportunity to make up for his mistake... [image5] [image6] | |

Makoto isn't exactly my favourite character of this series. But Mizuki (performed by guest seiyuu NODA Junko) and Lisa-chan give life to this episode, and the short appearances of the class mates show us their progress as well. Again, the last couple of minutes are the best of this part of the series. =============================================================================== | |
