| Ryo has become fascinated by women's professional wrestling, thanks to the "Stirring bodies! Shining sweat!" and "touching skin to skin!". He has a front row seat at the so-called "Haircut Death Match", which determines the WWWL league champion (and the loser of which must shave her head). Afterwards, Ryo and Kaori are hired by the manager of the new champion, Kumi Akamatsu, to protect her. There have been a number of suspicious incidents in which fans of hers have been injured. The top suspect is Death Match loser Lucifer Rei, who publicly vowed to kill Kumi. At the WWF training camp, Ryo makes an ass of himself "sparring" with Kumi, who wants no bodyguard. Meanwhile Kaori spies on Lucifer, and what she sees convinces her she does indeed intend to kill Kumi. Kaori reports back to Ryo, only to be told that Kumi has just gone to meet Lucifer... |
