| Ryo and Saeko are at the seashore, where she insists today is her day off and she doesn't expect him to do anything (which he finds hard to believe). However, while they are driving together she recognizes a wanted suspect in another car and takes off in pursuit. She won't give up the chase, and her wild driving gets her pulled over by motorcycle policewoman Kiyomi. Saeko has left her ID at home, and assigns Ryo the task of keeping Kiyomi busy while she tries to catch up to the other car. When things are sorted out, Kiyomi regrets inadvertantly helping the suspect escape. Back home, Ryo finds Kaori giggling with joy over a fancy "Rich A. Wool" fur coat which she managed to purchase at a bargain price. The coat, however, turn out to be a shoddy knockoff, which brings Kaori to tears and makes her vow revenge. Then Kiyomi calls Ryo and wants to meet him. She's learned that he's a private detective, and asks him to help her catch the criminal who she accidentally helped get away... |
