Synopsis
Word has gotten around of Ryo's lecherous behavior, and as a result the City Hunter agency hasn't gotten a case in over a month. Kaori hands out flyers on a streetcorner, in hopes of drumming up some business, but Ryo's pride as a "Sweeper" won't let him do the same. He wanders off and comes upon three men harassing a girl in an alleyway. After making short work of the thugs, Ryo is disappointed to find that the girl is a mere teenager. However, the girl follows him, because her horoscope said she would meet her future husband today. Ryo finds it disconcerting that the girl thinks she knows the exact dates on which they'll be married, their children will be born, and they'll die, and finally manages to lose her. Later, Kaori is pleased to inform Ryo that they finally have a case, namely protecting model Akemi Tezuka who has been getting threatening letters. Has Ryo seen this girl somewhere before?

This episode marks the beginning of "City Hunter 2", with new OP and ED sequences, but otherwise no significant differences so far. There was no episode number, so I hope 52 is correct. As for the quality of this particular episode, the case seemed to have been wrapped up (I'd forgotten this was a two-parter) 'til Ryo revealed that there was more than one "villain" involved. I'd say both comedy and action were average. My grade: C+
