The question of whether there will be another God, and who it shall be, is resolved--which was a surprise, since there is still one more episode to come. The winner isn't exactly the person I was expecting. This episode could have been better, but it could have been worse, too. The professor's change of heart made some sense, and the agreement the candidates came to about the winner didn't seem utterly absurd. In fact, I sort of liked this climax. Perhaps the final episode will delve into matters like 'what does God actually do' and 'Why is he/she chosen in such a combative manner?' and stuff like that. |
