| Aoi Futaba (black hair) is "a multi-national entry special agent" who is intimately trained in the handling of firearms. Kinjou Manami (brown hair) is "a Japanese local associate of the CIA" who is not so familiar with guns but would very much like to be. After being discredited with their employers, both find an unexpected new line of work: as security guards for the alien Katian embassy, which just happens to be located in the home of their mutual friend, Kio Kakazu.
