Synopsis
Stretch: Episode eight seemed like an improvement, with a bizarre opponent, the amusing rivalry between Togame and the Princess, and the scheming among the ninjas and Endodaemon. What disappointed me was the message I got that Shichika had already overcome his habit of casually killing anyone who opposes him, whether they deserve to die or not. It was a neat touch, a sort of heartless naivety which added another dimension to the personality of a man who would otherwise be a plain old hero. I thought something serious and tantalizing must be developing, but instead I'm told that the problem has faded away almost without us noticing it go.
