| Crashing into the story line (with no introduction), Tasuke and Sharorin are busy rehearsing a play with the rest of their class for the upcoming school festival. Ironically the play they have chosen is the Japanese Classic called “ The Tale of a Bamboo Cutter” in which simple bamboo cutter finds a small baby hidden within a stalk of a bamboo shoot. He takes the child home and raises her as her daughter, unaware that she is a Princess of the Moon destined to leave earth and return to her people. (see Wikipedia entry posted on the main page.) |
