| Being desperately short on money, Kyo and Asu hunt for Big Sale items for dinner everyday. When trying to pick the last item of low-price white radish, Asu is outpaced by a blonde girl her age who happily presents her prey to her older sister (same age as Kyo). While being disappointed, Asu has already spotted tomorrow's Big Sale item: side pork meat! How long has it been since they were able to eat something like that?
Next day at school Asu happens to run into the blonde girl from the day before. They both chase to the shop with the Big Sale but when they struggle for the last pork item the blonde girl, named Ginko, fakes tears, claiming her older sister would scold her if she didn't bring the pork home. Asu hesitates, then offers the pork to Ginko - who laughs at her for being that naive... right when some woman takes that last pork item instead! Now Ginko is seriously troubled and crying, even claiming her perfectionist sister will push her out of her home. So might she be allowed to live at Asu's home instead? Not sure what to make of this, Asu takes Ginko to her home - where both girls face a big surprise: Ginko can hardly believe her eyes seeing that Asu isn't scolded by Kyo, and Asu can hardly believe her eyes seeing... the side pork meat Kyo has bought right after school today! But then Asu asks Kyo to give that meat to Ginko who apparently needs it more - and Kyo complies without hesitation, showing her trust in Asu to Ginko's bewilderment. But that was nothing compared to the surprise of the poor sisters bringing Ginko home, finding out she practically lives in a castle, and watching her feed the pork to her pet crocodile! And what's more, Ginko still gets scolded by her older sister Kinko - for lying about buying the meat... | |

Ginko isn't easily accessible as character, yet the story turned out much better than I was afraid half-way through this episode. We'll meet these rich sisters again in some later episode. | |
