| Two girls, Sakuya and Otome are riding together on a bicycle when they are strafed by helicopter gunships (also piloted by high school uniformed girls). They defend themselves admirably. Male transfer student Tetsuro (apparently the only male student) arrives for his first day at school, only to be narrowly saved from getting hit by a truck by a strange pink-haired girl who somehow knows his name. An angry girl, Miya, steps out of a limosine and lectures him on his carelessness and the minor damage he has caused to the truck's precious cargo. In class Tetsuro is assigned to a desk beside Asuka, the girl who saved him. Meanwhile, Miya vows to subject Tetsuro to "the initiation rite" as punishment for scratching one of her precious "Zaidrits". Asuka insists she take Tetsuro on a tour of the school, which proves to be very educational. She says she once made a promise to always protect him, and is hurt when he cannot remember it. Miya, a wealthy, arrogant girl who holds a number of titles at school, offers to show Tetsuro around herself, and knows just what it takes to distract Asuka. Miya and her hench-girls are driven off by Sakuya, still pissed after her experience on the way to school. Later, Tetsuro is abducted and whisked away to the headquarters of Gokou-kai, which is "comprised of those with the finest household, lineage, education and upbringing, making it the most powerful elite group within the academy". Miya, it's chairman, insists that he take an oath of loyalty after snubbing her and associating with "those rejects". After Tetsuro makes an unwise comment about the way she's dressed, Miya gets furious and vows to humiliate him. He cries out for help, and somehow Asuka senses that he's in danger... | |
