Title:Ichigo 100% TV
Episode:11: A Dangerous Newcomer / Decision! Birthday
Synopsis
A Dangerous Newcomer

[Chapter 57-58a]It's the first day of 2nd year for Manaka. He wakes up all ready to go and finds Yui in his bed. As she wakes up she mentions that she got up in the middle of the night and crawled in his bed. He's concerned but she points out that this time she didn't wake up naked. He goes to school and finds out that Aya has been transferred out of his class and Komiyama is put in. Satsuki is of course overjoyed that he is in her class again.
After class he is in the club room wondering if anyone would show as it is only the first day when the door opens and Mizusu walks in. She insults Manaka and tells him the only person in this club that she respects is the Writer and the Star (Aya and Satsuki). Then she tells him that she is waiting for the director Manaka. She is shocked when she finds out Manaka is the lovey-dovey guy. She turns to leave and Manaka puts down his camera to stop her, and she notices that the camera is aimed at her skirt. (Cut to a Manaka beating.) Sotomura comes in and introduces Mizusu as his sister. Satsuki and Aya comes in, and Satsuki gets into a major fight with Mizusu which Manaka trys to break up. Of course he ends up on the floor with both of them grabbing his crotch (Hehe). Mizusu is accepted into the club.
Decision! Birthday

[Chapter 62b-63]Manaka is waiting outside of the burger joint that Satsuki works (It turns out he quit) and gives Satsuki a b-day gift which is a pink frame. She's overjoyed and takes Manaka out to a pond to get a picture of today. At a fountain she tells him how much she means to him and how he won't return the affection. He goes up to her and she snaps a picture of him and her while she is kissing his cheek. She runs off. That night Manaka is thinking about how he made Satsuki cry and decides that he keep it professional between Aya and Satsuki.
This scene opens with a full figure Aya taking a Shower (Whoa! Some ecchi here). Later that week it is Manaka's birthday (He's very close in age to Satsuki) and Satsuki tries to give him a present, which he refuses.(Trying to keep it professional) She gets mad and runs off. Later Aya tries to give him a gift which he also refuses. She starts to cry and presses it on him telling him it is some notebook paper to write screenplays in. He then accepts and she goes off. He feels bad and goes back to Satsuki and accepts her gift, which makes her happy. Turns out she gives him some underware with a picture of a man with a VERY long nose. He doesn't know what to say. The scene ends with Aya crying on the roof of the school.
Comments
More random skippage (mostly about Tsukasa and Yui). According to Suki only 1 more episode exists which is almost a 100% Tsukasa episode.

Nope - Aya isn't crying at all! (Very unlike the stupid Satsuki.) Aya takes the first refusal of her birthday gift very calmly (she even soothes Manaka who feels bad about the rejection!), and by doing so she manages to make him accept her present. And on the rooftop, Aya still isn't crying. Why should she? She's today's undisputed winner: Manaka told her that he refused Satsuki's gift (but then accepted her own one!) and that he broke up with Nishino! Is there any competition left? At the end of this episode Aya is in the leading position, even though Manaka made up with Satsuki; and she might have won by episode 12 had not fate intervened, in the person of Mizusu...
The two presents were quite telling about the different attitudes of the girls: Satsuki wants Manaka's body (and doesn't have a clue what's important for the boy - instead she's constantly "consuming" him) whereas Aya correctly chose a practical gift, one that isn't necessarily linked to romantic interest (and consequently was easier to accept).
If you ask me, then there are two girls in this series who try hard to understand and support Manaka (Aya and Nishino) and two irrelevant also-rans (Satsuki and Yui, additionally stalemating each other). Consequently East and West feature the OVA 1 sequel...
