| May 1st 2009. Characters from popular 80s manga Galaxy Express 999 Maetel, right, and a train conductor stand by a themed train at Toshimaen Station on the Seibu Toshima Line on Friday. The train carried 120 local kindergarten children, as well as author by Leiji Matsumoto to Ikebukuro Station. "I feel like I'm dreaming that a real train is covered with my drawings," said Matsumoto, who suggested creating a train with a beautiful bluish earth to raise people's consciousness about environment conservation.
