| As her plane nears New York, Sana can't help thinking about what happened at the airport back in Japan--namely, seeing Hayama and Fuka holding hands. Sana and Naozumi have heard all sorts of things about what an exciting and potentially dangerous city New York is. At JFK airport, they are confronted by ominous men in suits--after an initial scare, it turns out to be Alfred Mack, Gary Hamilton's head housekeeper, and bodyguards. Three helicopters whisk them away to Hamilton's palace-like home. They arrive amidst the "weekly ball", and meet Michelle Hamilton, whose unfriendly attitude gives Sana the chills. Sana is certain she sees Hayama at the party, but it turns out to be Brad, a near lookalike. Brad's up front attitude ("are you lovers?") startles Sana and Naozumi. There is no sign of Gary Hamilton himself, and the two feel distinctly uncomfortable about this place. Sana's maid seems to want to tell her something, but feels it would be best to keep it a secret. Late at night, someone attempts to enter Sana's room, but vanishes when she jumps out of bed. The next day a series of frightening near-accidents occurs. Brad is surprisingly calm; as he puts it, "to be invited here means you'll definitely be targeted"... |
