Synopsis
It's the day before "My Daughter and I" goes on sale. A mysterious man shows up at the Kurata household--it's Misako's ex-husband, a gambling addict who begs to be loaned some money--but she will have none of it! The next morning the book is released, and it tells of Sana being found abandoned on a park bench 11 years ago. Rei is shocked that Misako would reveal something so potentially harmful to Sana, and an angry argument ensues. Sana finds this more disturbing than the book itself--but help is on the way...

The fact that Sana seemed to have no feelings about Misako's ex-husband hints at the fact that he's not her true father. When it comes to the money, the man neither begs nor expresses the slightest regret at the way their marriage turned out.
