The show starts with the tale of Chitose Fujinomiya, a girl who goes from riches to rags and back and remains a snob despite it all. When her wealthy father dies, remaining debts leave Chitose almost broke, and she is kicked out of the affluent Tokai no Gakuen, or City Academy. She is left with nothing in the world but the clothes on her back and one pink goldfish named Gyopi-chan, the only memento she has of her father. Wandering lost, she collapses on the grounds of the poor-but-happy Inaka no Chugakko (Country Jr. High School), where the students are rough if friendly, and farm animals regularly roam the school grounds and even attend class. Recovering, she enters into the school but is repelled by its air of poverty, to which she is unaccustomed. |

While Nanaka and Nenji always walk together to high school, one would never know that they were childhood friends. The studious and reserved Nanaka is always picking on Nenji for getting into fights, behaving like a Juvenile delinquent and never taking school seriously. On one rainy afternoon, she happened to push him to far. Nenji barked back, saying some stupid and angry words, and then stomped away. Nenji got worried, and when he found Nanaka, she had fallen down a flight of stairs and had lost consciousness. And when she awoke again in the hospital, she had lost her memory and introduced herself as Nanaka, a cheerful six-year-old, full of laughter and completely entranced by the (now-ten-year-old) anime series “Magical Girl Domiko”. Suddenly Nenji finds himself having to being an older guardian to his childhood friend and remembering just how much fun they had together when they were kids, but how can he help Nanaka return to normal? |

Kotaro starts out as pretty much your usual kid although he lives alone with his father, which forces him to take over some of the chores at home, such as cooking and cleaning. But what starts out as a usual morning changes drastically as he opens his front door to be confronted by a girl named Misha dressed in a voluminous dress and a tendency to shout rather than speak. Kotaro attempts to escape, but this new next-door neighbor is quite persistent...this is the beginning of Misha's stalking of Kotaro. Even though she is a Junior High School student she has chosen Kotaro as her victim and hounds him all day long. What Kotaro does not know is that Misha is an 'Angel', who has decided to help him (in her own clumsy and troublesome way.) |
